I am filling this request on Henrique's behalf. This requires additional design thinking—also, not 100% sold on the idea.

ShopFloor did something similar to this recently. Probably a good idea to have a chat with their team (SF1) to see their approach. I can already foresee some challenges when it comes to internationalization (when to use a dot, space, comma to represent decimal and thousand separators).
