Where is this icon shown? Only in tray or is the a launcher shown by default?

The icon is displayed in

  • the start menu
  • notifications
  • the about menu

I cannot add it as applet to my cinnamon panel ("task bar").

Unfortunately the app icon has the same name as one of their status icons, it appears.
