After I added some folders to a group, the folders are not shown anymore. I get a notice to create the first folder in a group. When I look at the content management, the folders are there, when I open the node from a folder, it opens in the correct group. But when I try to go to the folder from the group, it doesn't work.

Another strange thing is, that when I add a new folder, it is placed in a random group, and all folders are in that same group.

I have exactly the same issue. Installed latest version of OA and AF. Created two groups, each adding a folder from the opening folder screen, with on group folder also having a subfolder. After logging out and back in, selecting the folder tab for either group shown no folder, only the default screen to add the first folder.

I can access the folders via the node URL which will show ALL three folders. It does not matter which group I am in to access the folder with the node URL, I always see all three folder. In addition the subfolder is shown on the same level as the two root folders.

Any help in getting the folder feature to work would be appreciated.

Just chang wiki node post in content type. Default is node post and cause this issue.

Close this issue.

@Martindelataille: Could you please elaborate a bit? I don't quite follow your solution.

Go to content type -> folder -> change node post to group content.

By default, node post is enabled so your content is not created with the group dependance.

@Martindelataille for me this solution doesn't work, I have already set "standard group post" but the weird behaviour continue to be present

Got it...the problem is that when you create the parent folder you have to select "create new folder" in the Folder tree section of your content type otherwise this strange behaviour will occur..Unfortunately this Folder tree menu is set as "none" by default so you have to be very careful. I think this need a fix!

I am also experiencing this issue, but not sure how to use Selkie's fix, the folder tree seems to have "" already selected, am I supposed to overtype the folder name in this box ?

Atrium Folders reports that it is version 6.x-1.0-dev which I downloaded tonight

Maybe your case is different from mine..In my case by default I have "none" selected and not "create new folder". Have a look to your folder content type and check if "standard group post" is selected, if it's not just select it otherwise your folders and files won't be posted in to your group.

I have managed to fix this issue, the problem I had , was that I hadn’t installed the module in quite the right place.

Being new to open atrium I had installed the module under the folder profiles/openatrium/ directory

rather than sites/all/modules/features as the notes actually told me to, I had presumed that open atrium had moved on since this feature was developed and as I didn't have a sites/all/modules/features folder the one under the profiles folder must be the right place, but of course it wasn't !!
