Triggering the tasks modal from QuickAdd

I have a setup with the QuickAdd plugin such that I can easily create tasks in a Capture.md file from anywhere. A slight annoyance is that with the quick capture format, QuickAdd generates a separate prompt for each variable. I thought it would be really neat if there was a way to trigger the usual tasks modal from QuickAdd instead.

I found a modal form plugin that could potentially work around this. However, it would be awesome not to add yet another plugin.

Background

As per the title of this section - Ideas: Any New Feature Requests go in Issues please, we don't track feature requests in Discussions any more.

(Bugs have always been tracked in Issues.)

Here are some of the reasons why the need for this change:

• Plan switch to recording new feature requests in Issues instead of Discussions/Ideas #1168

I had to leave Ideas Discussions open to allow people to comment on existing ideas, and so we could track their votes, so I renamed the section to try to point people to Ideas instead for new reports.

So I would be grateful if you would go to Issues, click New Issue and submit your request there...

I suspect that the docs linked above may be close about to what you are requesting and there will be no need for a separate feature request to be created.
