Comments
Same as in Windows environment (where Arduino.exe is executed). I don't know Mac environment so good that I can be sure, but Arduino is a Java based application, so it is portable and directories are the same (I suppose). |
Thanks (grazie) Daniele. Files copied: Seems to work. |
Try to instal RandA software on Raspy PI 2 but after reboot i receive a lot of bad messages (like processor 3 stopping) and at the end Kernel stopped with panic alert / not able to mount device ..... and the system is frozen !!! |

No other software installed, it is a fresh installation using NOOBS to install it on a 32 GB SD cardI changed only the hostname and added cgroup_enable=memory to file cmdline.txt Date: Sat, 27 Jun 2015 01:43:24 -0700 xgelatmi1 Try to install RandA software on a new SD with Raspbian. Probably some interaction with other installed software. Or download and use SD image with software installed, on a new SD (via WinDiskImager). Software has been tested on Raspy Pi 2. — |

i will try this evening but i'm not sure this is the solution because in your procedure this file is substitute with a new one if i remember well Date: Sat, 27 Jun 2015 02:15:25 -0700 xgelatmi1 Simply, try to disable cgroup (comment line). Not tested with RandA software. If no more problems, I will investigate about cgroup and RandA (but not immediately). — |
xgelatmi1 In any case for people that could have problem with RandA installation procedure, I suggest to try to install software on new OS image, or better, to use image already prepared downloaded from github site (release 1.4). |
Ok, thanks, i will try and i hope all will be solvedthanks again for your work and effort An additional info for you if it could help !!! Date: Sat, 27 Jun 2015 03:35:07 -0700 xgelatmi1 In any case for people that should have problem with RandA installation procedure, I suggest to try to install on new OS image, or better, to use image already prepared downloaded from github site (release 1.4). In this way you can add, step by step, software or setting added, and discover possible incompatibilities. Consider that prepared image has been tested on Rasp 2. So it surely operate without problem. — |
Where i have to copy the file remoteport.properties on a Mac machine (of course if it's possible to use the modified Arduino 1.0.5 on Mac) ?
