The suite consists of:


Technical Overview

The OpenFlightHPC User Suite would both compliment and introduce new functionality to the OpenHPC project.

The user suite provides:

  • A portable, self-contained Ruby environment (flight-runway)
  • Command entrypoint to subsequent add-on tools (flight-runway)
  • A tool for managing the state of the Flight environment (flight-starter)
  • A tool for creating and managing local and global software environments (flight-env)
  • A tool for creating and managing virtual VNC desktops (flight-desktop)

Sorry for the delay on this - we got sidetracked focusing on 2.x work and are revisiting open software requests now.
