Test datasets for demo.oskari.org

Need for good quality demo datasets in Oskari demo-site & also list of working interface URL's in documentation that ease the testing. Tasks should be done in spring 2018.

Suggested in Oskari Developer Summit in 2018.

Suggested tasks:

1. Define all possible types of data that can be published in Oskari (JDF/Sanna)

• Data formats
• Interfaces
• Data types (point, lines, polygons, rasters…)
• Attribute types (time, measurements, nominal data, ID…)

2. Find suitable open datasets (JDF/Sanna)

• Make sure that terms of use allows their use
• It is also possible to use non-open data; being in Oskari Demo is free showcase for commercial data!
• Make an agreement with data owners (can be fixed-term)

3. Check the quality of the datasets; if too high, add some artificial mistakes/missing data to help testing (JDF/Sanna)

4. Add datasets to Oskari Demo (NLS-FI)
