I'm attempting to upgrade from 20.04 to 22.04, and am getting this error in the upgrade logs

upgrade result: Err(PreUpgrade(WipePulse(Os { code: 20, kind: NotADirectory, message: "Not a directory" })))

Assuming "Pulse" here refers to "Pulse Audio". I should note that my on-board audio also has not been working recently, which may be related to what's causing this issue.

I've decided to just go ahead with a clean install, so I won't be able to help troubleshoot this.
