Links in the UI to the soundpacks available in the launcher would be nice, so that people can quickly visit them and get an idea of what the soundpack is like.

I'm sorry, but this is nonsense. For many reasons. From unpacking the archive(if you look - they're all zipped), to understanding the exact structure of the sound pack. And they are too large(long) to draw a conclusion on a small part.

Ex, Otopack, Very nice pak, but... You will need to turn up the audio levels. He's too quiet. (Don't take it as an ad)

But switching packages in the launcher is a very good idea.

Curious: what do you think 'link to soundpack' mean Vladicus?

I think they focused on 'get an idea what the soundpack is like' part of the sentence....

I think so too. But how?
A small piece of the spack will not say anything. But the difficulty of the code will be high. Why make life harder?
But that's for Qrrk to decide, оf course.

Upd. No. Can be done as on consoles (Sega, Dendy et cetera). But, this is already ... Bust.

Or a single file(AllIn). The same question(Why make life...).

Mmm... For example, so: https://github.com/budg3/CDDA-Soundpack/archive/master.zip
or
so: https://drive.google.com/open?id=14_ZlFCwqavU8JJ9X4PHVM5vqEXs46OsM
or so: http://chezzo.com/cdda/ChestOldTimeyLessismore.zip (old times )))) )

If I understand your question correctly, you forgot that there are a lot of "links" to sounds.

I think you're going a bit hard at an idea that is not that precise, which is odd.

@Tranberry Haha!!! Right. We have the same attitude towards our ideas. It's not bad. It's worse when there are no ideas.

P.S. Well, let's say they are opposite. It does not matter. I completely forgot to point out such obvious things to my fellow programmer.

I'm pretty sure what the guy meant was to have links to the github repo or other "homepage" for each soundpack. For example, the link to Otopack would be https://github.com/Kenan2000/Otopack-Mods-Updates or the link to CO.AG would be https://discourse.cataclysmdda.org/t/musicpack-co-ag-musicpack-redux-11-dec-2019/18992/71 which is the link used by the wiki. Ironically, that same thread recommends people to use Otopack anyway.

@ctrenthem159 A-a-a-nd? Your suggestions. Well, as they say, when rejecting, offer. Here you go. And?
Don't take this as a "test of the teeth" on you. This is not true and it is wrong)))

I can not deduce what it is you're saying Vladicus, all I can take away from it is that you are against something (I guess)..

I'm guessing you somehow do not want to expose the sources of the things used?
