adhoc filter seems to be broken on Grafana v11.4.0

the adhoc filter in grafana seems to be broken, it shows me all the keys but doesn't preview any values after selecting a key, and if you manually provide a value it does not build the query correctly.
I did some more analysis and saw that the request from the grafana plugin doesn't fill out the field correctly and instead puts the datatype.
