[Android] fileCopyUri present but not accessible

Hello,

Im trying to upload a file selected by the user, this works perfectly for iOS but not for android.
The file URI i get from react-native-image-picker seems to work fine to be uploaded via multipart form to S3.
But the file url i get from copyTo cache doesnt seem to be accessible, also tried opening the returned URI with FileViewer and it says media not found, although a URI is returned/present.
Am i missing something? I thought i wouldnt need react-native-fs with copyTo cache, if i do, how can i get a valid accessible URI to upload?

I'm sorry but without having any code to look at, this is hard to answer... If the fileCopyUri is present, then I'm sure the file is there :)

Found the issue fileCopyUri on android is generating a file:/ instead of file:///

Interesting find; I'd think it doesn't matter if the extra slashes are there. Anyways, with version 8.1.2, Android will include three slashes, same as iOS. 👍
