In a dataset with fully static data, we don't show the play controls or status. However, we still show a timeline selector which is strange. It would be better to not use up the space in the bottom at all.

Clarification to myself bc it took me a bit: If all data is static then timeline selection is also pointless. So hiding time controls but not timeline selection doesn't make sense (hide the entire bar!)
