Yep, it's a bug. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
After I forked the original, I never checked the brew installation recipe.
In looking at this, the brew idiom of using another parallel project repository doesn't appeal to me.
So, I'll need to do some further research and likely setup a CI process to automate the build and a brew configuration.
Until that's done, the go installation method would be the only working method for installation.
Looks like something is linked wrong here...
