I was able to find schematics PDF and firmware source code

what is the URL for PCB source? is there a URL for gerbers/bom?

Currently the BOM / PCB design is private. And I think I will keep it that way for now. This is to ensure people don't make their own PCB designs, run my code on it and then complain when something doesn't work. (I can guarantee assembled units will work so that hopefully eliminates a potential point of failure).

"Open" in this case simply refers to the source code and schematics of the board.
