Header profile and notification icon state

Thanks for converting the repo to typescript.

I noticed that once you have opened and closed the profile "menu" then you are not able to reopen it again before resetting the state by refreshing, changing to dark mode, etc. This issue also exists in the original next.js repo... Same case for notifications
