Figured we should kick open a tracking issue for this.

I've been meaning to go ahead and remove the Twitter link on the /community page and the footer. Now we have something to replace it with. Is a Mastodon icon what we want to go with, or is there something more general that indicates the fediverse as a whole? I feel like keeping it generalized might be better: It's pretty likely when you can participate on the fediverse with a Sandstorm server, Mastodon will not be the software of choice to do so.

The Fediverse does seem to have a standard icon (easy to google), though it feels like it would probably be a bit less recognizable if made monochrome like the rest of these icons.

I think it's fine to have a mastodon logo there as long as it is actually a mastodon account; we can always change it if we migrate to another platform. But I don't have strong opinions one way or another.

The ActivityPub icon seems much more familiar to me than the Fediverse icon, when I do some casual searching. But yeah, I'm not strongly opinionated on it, I suppose.

Ok, yeah, I think I like the AP logo best (though still don't care that much).
