Designing Single Cell Experiments - number of biological replicates

Hello,

I know this question has nothing to do with Seurat but because members of this group are really knowledgeable in single cell experiments I think this is a great place to ask =)

What is a good approach for determining the number of biological replicates needed when designing single cell experiments? I've been looking for an answer but haven't found a good one yet.
