A way to quickly delete all the text in the search field.

Currently, after performing a search, if you want to do another, you must manually clear the text from the search field.
It would be useful to have a clear button (the typical X at the end of the field when text is entered) or to automatically select all the text when focusing on the field. This way, the text could be deleted with a single keystroke.
