This FAQ is partially incorrect: If I enable blocking, what happens to the blocked events? Are events just blocked from specific Destinations or the entire Segment pipeline?
Blocked events are blocked from sending to all Segment Destinations, including warehouses and streaming Destinations. When an Event is blocked using a Tracking Plan, it does not count towards your MTU limit. They will, however, count toward your MTU limit if you enable [blocked event forwarding] in your Source settings.
The answer states that ALL Segment destination will not receive the blocked events. This is not true for mobile device mode destinations. If you configure a tracking plan and enable schema controls to block events that are not part of the tracking plan, mobile device mode destination WILL STILL receive the events. The events will just be blocked from Segment entering Segment.
