Add ability to change the apikey for each call

i want to change the api key for each call depending on which user is calling the api endpoint
something like this

    {

        Newsletter::setApiKey($request->user()->newsletterApiKey);
        $res = Newsletter::subscribeOrUpdate($validatedForm['email']);

        }
    }

or something similar
