Become a sponsor to Chris Barber
👋 Hi! I'm Chris! I work on a lot of open source software. In my free time, I enjoy contributing TiDev projects including the Titanium SDK.
Back in 2010, I joined Appcelerator, creators of Titanium Mobile (now Titanium SDK), back when there were around 20 employees. I worked there for 5-1/2 years before they were acquired by Axway in 2016. I worked on the Titanium CLI, the Titanium SDK including the Mobile Web platform, the Appc Daemon, and a handful of web apps. Axway eventually pulled the plug on Titanium in March 2021. At that point, I helped form TiDev, a US-based non-profit org, to take ownership of the Titanium intellectual property.
I continue to work on Titanium for fun without compensation. I truly care about Titanium and its awesome community. I manage the infrastructure, the websites, the repositories, the Titanium CLI, and coordinate the Titanium SDK releases.
In the coming months, I'd love to hack on the Titanium website purging old content, improving the API docs, speed things up, integrate an actual working search, add a module registry, and ultimately a web-based sandbox to experiment in.
If you or your company use Titanium and you'd like to sponsor my contributions, I would really appreciate it. Please do so only if you have the means.
Thank you! ❤️ Codestrong!
