I'm working in the software industry as a consultant and help our customers to solve their problems. My real passion is to develop free and open source software, learn every day and deliver new and maintain existing software libraries and integrate them to better solutions.

I work in a very cool company Holisticon AG and can spend 20% of my occupation time in research and development. Mostly this results in open source libraries and publications round them.

I spend a lot of time on free and open source software. I do it at work if it fits the customer needs, in 20% R&D time at my company or at home, feeling guilty not to spend all the time with my wife and my kids. If I get my goal reached, I'll spend less time at work for the customers and develop FOSS during work hours and will stop stealing time of my family.
