Other sites --- indexxx, iafd partially--- correlate aliases with studios, such as name (studio), for each respective studio a performer has appeared in. This is more informative than simply showing a list of aliases irrespective of their studio correlation.
StashDB currently doesn't have the means to do this effectively or efficiently
The process would be cumbersome, and fraught with inconsistencies and other mistakes that come with free form and unguided manual data entry. The current state of disambiguation values is an example of how inconsistent the data entry schemas would be, regardless of any guidelines
Describe the solution you'd like
Dynamically generate a list of aliases and their corresponding studios based on scenes added to StashDB. This requires no added manual data entry, but the list of aliases would be constrained to scenes submitted on StashDB. The following options would be complimentary to this.
Generate a list of aliases and their corresponding studios based on the studio links added to the performer page. This requires two additional fields to accompany the studio link field: (1) An alias field, and (2) A studio name drop down select field. This is the most cumbersome of the three options, but also gets us an accompanying citation to the alias making it very reliable.
Generate a list of aliases and their corresponding studios ala indexxx's paradigm, where users can assign studios to a performer and the corresponding alias for each. This is a tried and tested method on indexxx, but it lacks a way to get a citation for the submission.

I've been of the opinion that aliases should not be a directly edited attribute but instead inferred from scene aliases as it is already a thing and directly associated with a studio
This will automatically help with disambiguation as single name performers when limited to a specific studio/domain are much easier to deal with rather than across all possible performers that could have had that name
