Stash and Password restricted folder

Using Stash. Have added a library path which is on a SynologyNAS drive and requires username/password to access the files. How do I add that to Stash so that it will automatically login/connect to the folder.
Stash is accepting the pathname but when I select EDIT it waits a bit and then reports the username/password problem

Have Windows 10 and latest version os Stash
