improved signup flow

it would be nice to enable new members to request an invite via a form that asks them a couple of questions and then automatically sends a Slack invite to their email. Ideally we'd host this somewhere for free.

We used to use https://github.com/rauchg/slackin/ hosted on Heroku for the invite request, but stopped when Heroku cancelled their free offering. Also slackin looks very inactive and outdated.

As a quick fix, https://storytellers.link/invite/ currently uses a non-expiring Slack Invite link.
