This would need to be coord with ops -- perhaps as aliases or change dns.

Use new names:

  • shared_configs ??? (worker boxes should only be used by prescat)
  • capistrano deploy targets
  • resque config?
  • other configs???

This should get done as part of ubuntu migration.

This is not in progress, alas. We decided today that our current goal is to get all prescat boxes internally consistent. Once we reach that goal, we can consider another round of renames to add more semantics into the hostnames. Unassigning and moving to backlog for now.
