For the "calendar.live.com" entry, description was being passed. It just needs to be included in the return URL as listed below:

return "http://calendar.live.com/calendar/calendar.aspx?rru=addevent" +
"&dtstart=" + eventDetails.start +
"&dtend=" + eventDetails.end +
"&summary=" + eventDetails.title +
"&location=" + eventDetails.location +
"&description=" + eventDetails.details;
}
