Hello
Chocolatey is a package manager for Windows. (like apt-get on Linux)
Please add ChapterTool app to Chocolatey

For more information see below document:

Thanks.

I'm using this package manager now actually.

However I don't think it's necessary for this tools. ChapterTool do not require any setup or provide any cli interface. Adding an icon in start menu is too heavy for this tool.

I want to see the app icon on the start menu because I use your app a lot.
I'm also going to introduce this program to my friends.
If you put the app in the Chocolatey or Microsoft Store or Steam or etc, they can use the app more easily.

Hi @xmha97 , I've created a nsis based installer and uploaded to release page
This installer has not been fully test, so if you has any advice or issue, please let me know, thanks.

By the way, the choco script will not be a TODO before next version release.

Hello @tautcony
Below app help you to create an MSIX package. This app isn't complicated.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/msix-packaging-tool/9n5lw3jbcxkf
Why the MSIX package?

  • Because MSIX is currently supported on the Windows 10 in S mode. (win32 apps disabled on S mode devices)
  • Also, you can submit MSIX packages to the Microsoft Store. (this is not very important to me)
    Thanks
