The other village mods have a nice selection of schematics. Ours is quite limited.

My idea on buildings for the villages mod was, that each profession has their own designated building.

The woodcutter would have their lumber hut made of wood, with crafting and storge. The baker would have ovens in their house, etc.

The houses could be upgradable to house more villagers with the same profession and with their upgrades the material they are built out of could also shift away from wood to more sturdy housing, with materials that need more diverse materials.
