Custom redirects

Sometimes the user may want to create a new, shorter and sweeter URL for a page they'd like to put into a slide deck or share with others. Something like mysite.com/slides could redirect to their collection of slide deck presentations on Slides.com, for example.

  • New checks need to be added to ensure that new post titles don't use up an existing redirect URL, and that new redirect URLs don't overrule existing pages
  • Users may want to be able to redirect /feed to /articles/feed?format=rss or something else. Have to consider what the implications of that would be.
