Observed two times that service was up and running but there is no increment in corresponding DB row. That is only possible if consumer stop consuming the messages. Restarting the instance is work around solution.
We need to investigate the root cause.

@vikasrohit we ran the challenge for same but didn't get the any suggestion.
Please note last when you reported the missing messages issue, that time consumer was running fine. Also I didn't see this consumer stuck issue from some time - but it could be because we are releasing frequently. In PR - #55 we are updating no-kafka lib. Lets see if this fix the issue.
@sachin-maheshwari I usually restart the tc-notifications in 3-4 days to keep emails going to the customer, we can not afford missing emails in every other week. :)
