Allow compressing content in the FS storage

It's mostly JSON data. I think having a way to store raw data compress would reduce disk usage a lot, by increasing the CPU consumption. So it's a trade off, and the user should be able to decide.

This might make sense for S3 too. But maybe let's start with the FS backend.
