Player always pauses playback on single touch on mobile devices (expected would be to first just display navigation bar)

When watching a live stream on a mobile device (eg. Android phone in Chrome) then every touch to the video display immediately pauses the playback.

This is especially distracting when one just tries to bring up the navigation menu to eg. turn on fullscreen.
In those cases further clicks to either resume playing the video or switch back to live playback are required.

Often this further triggers another issue (voc/voctoweb#692) which causes the navigation bar to refuse to auto-hide again.
