Expected Behavior

Because colour should not be the only visual means of conveying information, the error and warning states of e.g., text inputs should have some other visual indicator.

Actual Behavior and Screenshots

Especially in Windows High Contrast mode the issue is very apparent, where the Error and Success states appear the same. The issue also would exist for many users who have difficulties in distinguishing colours.

Specifications

WCAG 1.4.1 Use of Color

Possible solution

The issue can be mitigated by mandating very clear language in the error/success states e.g. by prefixing the status text with "Virhe".

This should likely be fixed in design, e.g. by the use of icons, but noting it here nonetheless.
