What is the deprecation process? Deprecated packages are moved to https://github.com/wagtail-nest-deprecated. The README will start with a clear deprecation warning. With that, the package will no longer be maintained, but existing releases will continue to be available on PyPI. We will not remove releases.
Deprecation will happen via maintainer and community consensus when:
There is a newer package that does it better.
Wagtail core gets the functionality.
The package is no longer needed or used.
Maybe "The package is no longer needed or used." is the pain point. Are there people who use this package?
I think this package is not something people should (start to) use. We should move it to Nest Deprecated.

The stats show a couple of downloads.
1 in 4000 that still uses Hallo. It could be very old Wagtails that don't update anyway.
I think we are best off by moving this package to https://github.com/wagtail-nest-deprecated.
