Display what's going-on under the covers, somehow, with the preference graph.
One way to do this would be to show, when hovered over any alternative, the weight of the preference arc to all of the other alternatives next to those alternatives. In this way it would be possible to explore the full preference graph with little more than the display of the result partial order. It might be nice to show the majority/minority number (the difference) as well.
It would mean keeping or recalculating and sending $n^2 - n$ data to the browser. Just that many numbers.
