There are some official MacOS updates available:

At this point it's clear that EDB has dropped Postgres support for Linux.

It may be worth breaking the general 3rd party build rule, build from source, and host releases in this org:

The NOTE at https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/install-make.html#CONFIGURE-OPTIONS-LOCATIONS is particularly enlightening:

... the fully expanded directory name already contains the string “postgres” or “pgsql”.
For example, if you choose /usr/local as prefix, the documentation will be installed in /usr/local/doc/postgresql, but if the prefix is /opt/postgres, then it will be in /opt/postgres/doc.
