Would be nice to be able to link to a specific slide or presentation in the sense of for instance sending someone a mail with "Please check the next ten slides after slide x from presentation y [link to x]"

@matthias-hagen Similar to how GitHub lets you link to (ranges of) lines of code? For example, https://github.com/webis-de/slidehub/blob/master/index.html#L5-L7 links to lines 5 through 7.

GitHub uses fragment identifiers in the URI for this. Slidehub already uses fragment identifiers for targetting individual documents:

http://www.webis.de/slidehub/#argumentation-cross-domain-talk.pdf

Alternatively, we could use URL parameters instead of a fragment identifier. Some examples how this might look like:

Slidehub would then be able to somehow highlight the pages in question (and maybe navigate to them immediately).

Both variants seem fine to me ...

I just wanted to be able to reference to some range of slides (1 to many) in some specific slide desk.
