Can't open an imzml data #28
Comments
Hi, Greetings, This issue in question has been addressed and rectified. The most probable cause of the problem was that in the TCP module inside mzkit desktop application: the communication between the user interface and the local backend service for MSimaging data processing is facilitated through TCP socket. However, in earlier version, the data buffer size designated within the TCP module was insufficient, leading to an incomplete parsing of the data retrieved from the local data backend service when attempting to load large mass spectrometry imaging raw data file. This discrepancy resulted in the error message captured in the screenshot that you provided. the new version of the software is currently undergoing testing, and we are poised to release an update by the end of this month that will resolve the aforementioned issue. Kind regards, |
Thanks for your timely response! I'm not sure if the file of this size can be opened normally, or if there is a problem with the file on my end. However, they can be opened normally through SCILS. I am looking forward to the new version you will release at the end of the month. Thank you very much! |
the new version is released at here: https://cdn-biodeep-cn-obs.obs.cn-east-2.myhuaweicloud.com/tools/MZKit-20240702-Setup%20Files.zip |
Thank you for your reply, I will try out the new version and then give you feedback on the results! |
You’re welcome |
