I don't know if Django's queries even distinguish between read-only and read-write, but is there any way to add support for yb_read_from_followers to the queries this uses? Thinking maybe something where you could configure the database as:

DATABASES = {
    'default': {
        'ENGINE': 'django_yugabytedb',
        'NAME': 'yugabyte',
        'HOST': 'localhost',
        'PORT': 5433,
        'USER': 'yugabyte',
        'FOLLOWER_READ': true,
        'FOLLOWER_READ_STALENESS': 30000,
    }
}
