Not sure if the current Grand Chase game uses blocking, but if it's like the game you have here I think it would be good to include. Even the AI in Street Fighter for the SNES would block your attacks at times, forcing you to retreat or possibly take a devastating counterattack. Seems good to have even if not planning to keep the AI. Not sure if should be a letter key press or holding the backwards directional. At the least it should keep the player stationary.
