Is it possible to copy/paste the group selection area of a pdf?

For example if I make annotations to a pdf file and I want to include the section of the PDF with the annotations in my .md file.

I tried selecting all the elements and also grouping them but when I paste the area in my markdown it just pastes one of the elements, not the whole selection. I do this with the 'Copy markdown link for selected element to clipboard' feature.
