BlueBubbles Desktop App v1.0.4 RC 1 (Release Candidate)

Long time, no see! Sorry it has been so long since an update for this has come out. This is just the release candidate for updates to come. This is not an official stable release, however, that doesn't mean it's broken. I would love feedback on this so I can assure that the actual stable build is a 10/10.

What's new?

• Adds hotkeys for changing chats as well as leaving the Emoji Picker
  • To leave the Emoji Picker, simply hit Esc
  • To use the hotkeys for changing chats, you can use Ctrl + Shift + Tab to go to the "next" chat on the list. You can also use Ctrl + <number> to go to a specific chat in the list
  • No, unfortunately, this is not customizable yet
• When opening the Emoji Picker, the emoji search input focuses now
• Fixes read receipt issues
• Improves auto scrolling when loading chats and attachments/links
• Improves/Fixes the ability of the URL previews
• Fixes sizing of images and URL previews
• Fixes transparent window bug (caused by location bug)
• Fixes iOS 14 Location bug (causing the transparent window)
• Improves UX for fetching contacts. The windows reload will now only happen when you first start the app, not on every re-connect
• Fixes bug where you could open the reaction details popup more than once
• Fixes alignment issues with bubbles
• Fixes bug where reactions made on sent messages were flipped

• Removes bolding from many of the text fields

• Removes non-native spell-check, and adds in native spell-checking

• Reactions now will appear in the chat preview
• Fixes the selection mechanism in the Storage Tab
• Hyperlinks are now ignored in the conversation details page
• Fixes issues with closing out of the app via the 'x' button
• Cleans up the contact card widget
• Fixes avatar not appearing for link previews
• Fixes the alignment of some avatars
• Fixes sizing of some fonts in certain places
• Improves sync status messages (especially if there was an error)
• Fixes initial sync issues where it would freeze at the beginning or never complete

• Updated Typescript to the latest

• Gave all the database tables actual names instead of auto-generating them
  • I'm afraid this may cause people to need to do a full-re-sync, but that's just the way is has to be
• Cleaned up some React key errors when mapping
