How to create screen recordings of speaker presentations with audio
- for Macs, just use the default installation of QuickTime Player
- for Windows / Linux, install Open Broadcaster Software (open source project)
- Both of the above software produce file types that are immediately uploadable to YouTube, no video editing required

Catching the speaker's voice, so that it is loud enough on the screen recording:
- Ideally, you'll be able to bring a USB headset microphone & have the speaker hang it around their neck, angling the mic to catch their talk as they pivot around looking between their slides & the audience.
- Possibly the club can acquire a cheap/decent USB microphone that can be stored with the department and/or club faculty advisor.
