Translating plugins

Some of the DMPRoadmap project's gem dependencies still use Rails' builtin i18n system for managing translations. These files are stored in config/locales
.
When creating a translation or updating an existing one, we encourage you to also review the files below to make sure they are up to date and correct. If you do not see your language's file represented, you should make a copy of the en_GB
version and translate it (e.g. cp config/locales/devise/devise.en_GB.yml config/locales/devise/devise.ja.yml
)
-
config/locales/[language].yml
Only the very top 'date' and 'time' sections of this file need to be present/updated. Any other content is in place to support legacy versions of the application. This is where your date and time formats are stored. For example en_US uses the mm/dd/yyyy format and en_GB uses the dd/mm/yyyy date format -
config/locales/bootstrap/[language].bootstrap.yml
This file contains a few standard Bootstrap translations -
config/locales/contact_us/contact_us.[language].yml
This file is used by the contact page. -
config/locales/devise/devise_[language].yml
This file contains the messaging that the user sees when logging in, creating an account or resetting a password. DMPRoadmap does not make use of all of Devise's many options (e.g. we do not lock accounts) but it is good practice to provide a translation for all of the messages in the file. -
config/locales/devise/devise_invitable_[language].yml
This file contains messaging for the Devise invitable plugin which is used to send users an invitation to create an account in the system when a plan is shared with them and they are not already registered
