Overview:

One of two primary fuels for the DT Vista Inertial Fusion Engine and fusion reactors in general, along with Tritium. In order to produce deuterium, a Science Lab must be situated in either a body of liquid water or Jool's clouds (what altitude?) and its centrifuges activated. Deuterium can be stored in the Deuterium Tritium Tank.

Deuterium consumption follows the whole-vessel flow logic, so no fuel lines are required. It can be pumped between containers/reactors at will.

Containers:

3.125 units are included with the 0.625m Gekko reactor; the 1.25m Omega includes 25 units.

15 units are included with the Vista fusion engine.

100 units are included with the 2.5m reactor, and 800 units come with the 3.75m version.

100 units are also included with the radially-attachable D-T Tank.

500 units are included with the Antimatter-Initiated Reactor.
