Feature Requests

We're always looking to make the A.I. Snow Day Predictor better and more useful for our users. If you have an idea for a new feature or an improvement to existing functionality, we'd love to hear from you!

Before Submitting a Feature Request

  1. Search Existing Issues: Before creating a new feature request, please take a moment to search through the Issues to see if the feature has already been requested. If you find a similar request, feel free to add your own comments or reactions to it.
  2. Consider the Scope: Think about whether your feature request fits with the goals and scope of the project. The best features are those that improve the project for all its users.

How to Submit a Feature Request

Step 1: Create an Issue

Navigate to the Issues page of the repository and click on 'New Issue'. If there's a template for feature requests, select it; otherwise, choose to create a regular issue.

Step 2: Describe the Feature

Provide a clear and detailed description of the feature you're suggesting. Include:

  • Title: A concise title that summarizes the feature request.
  • Summary: A brief description of the feature.
  • Problem or Use Case: Explain the problem you're trying to solve or the use case for this feature.
  • Proposed Solution: If you have an idea of how to implement this feature, describe it here.
  • Alternatives Considered: Mention any alternative solutions or features you've considered.
  • Additional Context: Add any other context, links to similar features in other projects, or screenshots about the feature request here.

Step 3: Submit the Request

After filling out all the details, submit your feature request. The project maintainers will review your suggestion and may follow up with questions or feedback.

What Happens Next?

  • Discussion: The community and maintainers will discuss the feature request. This discussion might include its feasibility, potential designs, and its impact on the project.
  • Decision: The maintainers will decide whether to move forward with the request. Not all feature requests can be accepted, but all feedback is valuable and can lead to new insights or ideas.
  • Implementation: If your feature request is accepted, it will be tagged and added to the project's roadmap. If you're able to contribute to its development, we welcome your pull requests!

Thank you for contributing to the A.I. Snow Day Predictor! Your ideas and feedback help make the project more valuable for everyone.
