breadboard based noisy theramin type workshop (no coding, computers or soldering needed) At the end you have a little breadboard 'synth' that changes pitch as you put your hand closer to the LED.
Workshop is about half an hour in length.
All parts are currently ordered through Bristol University procurement system.

- 555 Timer
- White LED
- Photoresistor/LDR P1201 (120 kOhms@ 1 lumen)
- Buzzer (or speaker)
- 100uF capacitor
- 2.2uF capacitor
- 100ohm resistor x2
- momentary switch (SPST 0.5A)
- 9V battery
