Welcome to AstroRockets. It is a remade version of my favourite iPad game Astro Duel. I am still not very good at coding so please do not hate on me if I make some rookie mistakes. If you want to try out the pre-release versions, go to the releases tab and then search for versions with "a" suffix.
- Processors: Intel Atom® processor or Intel® Core™ i3 processor.
- Disk Space: 1 GB or more.
- Operating systems: Windows 7 or later, macOS, and Linux.
- Display Size: at least 720p.
To install this game follow these steps:
- Install the Python 3 Interpreter from https://www.python.org/.
- Then go to the folder you want to install it in using Command Prompt/Terminal, and enter
git clone https://github.com/MysteryCoder456/AstroRockets.gitor download a zip of the repository and extract it. - Run
setup_win.batas Administrator if you're using Windows or runsetup_unix.shif you're using MacOS or linux.
If you get any errors please tell me in the Issues tab.
Windows:
Right-click the file start_win.bat And click Run as Administator.
MacOS and Linux:
Open the game folder in Terminal and enter ./start_unix.sh.
Player 1: A and D for turning, W for accelerating and S for shooting. Press E for using a PowerUp (when available).
Player 2: Left and right arrow keys for turning, up arrow key for accelerating and down arrow key for shooting. Press Right Shift for using a PowerUp (when available).
