Motivations

Zenodo is a simple platform that enables sharing and preservation of any research outputs in any size, any format and from all fields of science.

Creating a community in Zenodo and uploading your scientific data ensures the persistence of your data, as Zenodo has a long-term vision for data archiving. In addition to preserving your datasets, you can also make them easily and uniquely citable via Zenodo. Your uploads get assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI). DOIs make your data citable, traceable and findable.

Uploading your datasets onto Zenodo facilitates the addition of metadata and the minting of DOIs, enhancing the discoverability of your scientific materials.
